Among Mavoi Satum's activities with the Knesset 

In the 17^th Knesset

• Led discussions in various different Knesset committees: The Constitution Committee, the State Audit Committee and the Committee on the Status of Women.
• Established a sub-committee of the Committee on the Status of Women, specially dedicated to solving the issue of get-refusal.
• Initiated a number of law proposals including changes to the Rabbinical Judges Appointment Committee; changes to the Rabbinical Courts Law (1953); changes to 'The Sanctions Law' (1995).
• We are currently fighting proposals to extend the powers of the Rabbinical Courts.

In the 16^th Knesset

• Work in various different committees:
• Presented a report to the State Audit Committee, based on the session we organized on the subject of process in the Rabbinical Courts.
• Initiated relevant discussions in the Committee on the Status of Women.

The Struggle against the Proposal to grant Judicial and Arbitration Rights to the Rabbinical Court

We are actively fighting proposals to grant judicial and arbitration powers to the Rabbinical courts. These proposals, if accepted, will represent a dangerous step for the Israeli law and society, and will significantly worsen conditions for women in the Rabbinical Court system.
